I'MA SUPERSTAR!!!

Hey Everybody,I just wanted to show you all my my billboard picture. I was asked to take some pictures at school, and I thought it was just for some library brochures, lol. So I was at work (I work in the library at my school), and alot of people were telling me that they saw my picture on a billboard. If you live in the Lansing, Michigan area, the picture is on Freeway 496 near downtown, right near the 127 exit going toward East Lansing. You can see it on both sides of the freeway. Someone also told me that they could see it on I96 in Detroit!So I had my friend Helena go with me so she could snap a picture of the billboard, but she had a hard time. Plus people in Michigan drive like maniacs, so we could not slow down too much. So finally we decided to get off the freeway and search for the billboard so here it is :). I'm so excited!!! LOL..

Brunsli Hair Ties...

Wow, I have not been on here in awhile. I just wanted to update my blog with some recent pictures. Right now I have been locked for exactly 15 months (installation December 29, 2005), and I am loving my locks. The only thing is.. I am finding myself getting bored with my hair and I am trying my best not to. I really can't think of much I can do with my hair since it is not that long. Plus I hardly have time to do much with it since I am always on the run. Also, I am still scared to do too much with my hair becuase I don't want to mess up my locking process. As you can see, I do wear BRUNSLI'S HAIRTIES and will be buying more of her hairties in the future :). So any suggestions that you might have as to some hairstyles, I'd appreciate it :). Thank You..

11 Months...

Hi Everybody!!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I am sooooo busy with lawschool that I hardly have time to post anything on my blog. I took this picture about 3 weeks ago. I rolled my hair with the spike rollers the night before. Usually, my curls are alot tighter, but they fell after I took a shower and ran my fingers through my hair. Right now, I got my locks 11 months ago on tommorrow!! (I just realized it as I was typing :) )

My Locking Session

My Locking Session

Okay, I am finally taking a break from studying; I finally have time to work on my blog :). December 29th, 2005 was the day of my locking session. I think my sisterlock consultant, Paulette, got started around 9 in the morning. We did not taking many breaks; just to use the restroom and to eat lunch and dinner. Time went by really fast, we talked about everything, lol...

As you can see, my hair is.....THICK!! I had about 7 inches of hair. Luckily, I did not wash my hair before I went, because my hair would have been hard to comb through.
